Common Ground is pleased to announce we will be opening a men’s sober living home in Red Wing, Minnesota. Opening on January 1, 2020, the men’s house will serve 5 men as they continue to pursue recovery from addiction.

According to Common Ground CEO, Mattea McGuire, “Common Ground looks forward to serving individuals recovering from addiction through the Red Wing Men’s House. Our sober housing residences will offer a place for men to continue their recovery in a peer-led setting, connecting them to the recovery community and to a community with lived experience.”

The home will be a peer-led and self-governed facility, providing the structure needed to support a healthy recovery lifestyle.

Prior to opening the men’s recovery house in Red Wing, Common Ground has offered outpatient treatment in Red Wing and across Goodhue County since 2016, and offers residential and outpatient treatment in Winona, and outpatient treatment in Rochester.

“We anticipate the Red Wing Men’s House to have an immediate impact across Goodhue County, as housing is one of the top barriers facing individuals in recovery,” McGuire says. “We believe this will help remove a barrier by helping men in recovery with transitional opportunities that enhance their recovery.”

Applications are now being accepted through December. Please visit the Red Wing Men’s House page to learn more or contact Jacob or Mattea McGuire at (507) 281-0023 or by contacting properties@commongroundmn.org.
